Possible Logos To Canal+'s M Movies+ And M Stars Channels Had Been Spotted

Canal+'s MultiChoice is planning to restructure their M-Net Movies offering in the coming weeks with M-Net Movies 1 and 2 merging to form M Movies+. Then M-Net Movies 3 becomes M Movies Stars and M-Net Movies 4 becomes M Movies Legends.

M Movies+ is set to replace M-Net Movies 1 and 2 and this would be the second time one of their movie channels had plus in the name following M-Net Movies Action+. Despite the lack of consistency in names, this is a concept that remains stable.

Same goes for M Movies Stars which is set to replace M-Net Movies 3, I find the positioning of this brand tolerable I just wish M-Net was more confident about brand names. Because the numeric system doesn't really say much about the channel.

DStv Access consumers are likely going to be in for a rude awakening once M-Net Movies 4 folds under M Movies Legends. Unlike the other two, it's like this channel has been going through some type of identity crisis.

It debuted on DStv Access as M-Net Movies Zone which was what a film festival channel then transitioned to family with M-Net Movies 4. Now it's going to be another TNT or Movie Room airing films from the 90s and early 00s maybe even the 80s.

In the end, all is not lost as TNT has become another e.tv when it comes to movies as it's been premiere after premiere with The Batman (2022), Fast X (2023) and very soon Barbie (2024).

Oddly enough, the logos displayed above show M Movies+ will be the only channel to retain the M-Net Movies trademark while M Movies Stars and likely M Movies Legends will have the M-Net logo. Are we still suppose to refer to them as movie channels???

By the designs here these channels would technically be referred to as M-Net Stars and M-Net Legends so I'm kind of confused. MultiChoice had been advertising these changes with all 3 having the M-Net Movies trademark although no logo.

Aside from new channel names, MultiChoice might be unveiling new DStv packages with more consumers expected to gain access to M-Net's international series and the upcoming M Movies+. 

Although not confirmed, it would kind of address the loss of KykNET Lekker on DStv Access with KykNET & Kie rolling out in place of the channel. Then there's M Movies+ which will be allocated on the packages set to come in place of Compact+ and Compact.
