Synopsis for 'n Ma Se Hart
The story follows Melike Karaca (Aslıhan Güner), a devoted mother who takes the blame for a crime she didn't commit—the murder of her husband—to protect her family and ensure a safe future for her baby daughter, Hazal. She ends up serving a 20-year sentence in prison.
Before going to prison, Melike entrusts her infant daughter to her sister-in-law, Hülya, along with her savings to care for the child. However, Hülya and her husband sell Melike's child to a wealthy family and replace her with another girl, raising a false child while pocketing Melike's money over two decades.
Upon her release after 20 years, Melike enters a world built entirely on a lie ("yalan"). She attempts to reconnect with the daughter she thinks is hers, completely unaware that her real biological daughter has grown up in an entirely different household under a different identity.
As Melike searches for the truth behind her husband's death and fights to claim her place as a mother, she must navigate a web of secrets, wealthy families, hidden motives, and a tense struggle to reclaim her true daughter.
The series features family drama, the conflict between rich and poor, a love triangle, mother/daughter relations, the search for justice and undisclosed secrets.
'n Ma Se Hart premiered in Turkey on May 27, 2024 and concluded on December 28, 2024 after 30 episodes each with a 2 hour duration. The drama had since then been licensed to various broadcasters including Asian streamer VIU.
