The Three Angels Broadcasting Network (3ABN) is an American Christian media television and radio network which broadcasts Seventh-day Adventist religious, music, health, lifestyle and public affairs programming, based in West Frankfort, Illinois.
MultiChoice had begun conducting tests on the channel for consumers in Southern Africa after it was spotted for DStv consumers in the rest of Africa under the DStv Event info card. It remains unclear whether this will be a pop-up channel.
But various shows from 3ABN's cable networks such as Remedy Roadmap and 3ABN Kids Camp Sing-Along had been spotted on the programme guide. We can only assume that the channel in development is likely 3ABN International or Africa.
3ABN International is broadcast across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania via satellite, and world-wide via the internet. It serves as a distribution hub to programming viewed on 3ABN's other cable networks with regionalised programming.
Aside from 3ABN, MultiChoice had also been developing a TV channel with the Magic Showcase/CineMagic info card. It has been speculated that this channel would also be replacing KykNET Lekker as it goes dark on DStv.
