I truly thank everyone for supporting Insidus ZA throughout the years. While some might jokingly want to build a monument for the brand on their own platforms, what RSSing is doing is taking things a bit too far.
Those who have been visiting my site occasionally already know that Google hasn't been working in my favour for a couple of years now. I thank Google for helping me get as far as I have, and I know I don't owe them anything, but with these AI overviews decimating people's livelihoods, I'm out here just trying to survive and do what I am passionate about.
Lately, I’ve been trying to get my life in order and stop being the "everything guy" like I was in previous years. To be honest, that lifestyle was exhausting. But now, I feel like I'm in a much better position—at least mentally—and it's that renewed drive that pushes me to do what I love most.
For platforms like RSSing, there are better ways to acknowledge a person's hard work. I could have tolerated you embedding links if it actually worked in favour of the creator. But that is simply not the case here. Because of that, I have to put a muzzle on your scraping to show you that you are actively hurting other people's businesses.
For those who have been reliant on RSSing for my content, please stop and rather bookmark my site directly on Google or your preferred browser. I have a ton of plans for the site and am actively working towards executing them. While I have hit some bumps along the way, my objectives for the brand are more aligned now than ever before.
