G20 (movie)
The film follows Danielle Sutton (played by Viola Davis), the President of the United States, as she travels to Cape Town, South Africa, to attend the high-profile G20 summit.
The summit is violently ambushed and taken under siege by a heavily armed mercenary group led by a ruthless former operative named Rutledge (played by Antony Starr).
President Sutton manages to narrowly evade initial capture. Utilizing her resourcefulness and background, she must go on the defensive, navigating the cordoned-off summit venue to outwit the terrorists.
Alongside protecting her family (who are with her at the event) and her fellow world leaders, she has to stop the rogue faction from executing a catastrophic global scheme before security forces can break through.
It leans heavily into a high-octane, Die Hard-style political hostage formula, focusing on a commander-in-chief forced to take matters into her own hands to save global leaders and her family.
It airs on Sunday at 20:00 on e.tv from 25 October

Inyosi (miniseries)Inyosi is a 13-part drama series on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161). Led by award-winning actress Dawn Thandeka King (who stars alongside a stellar cast including Thembsie Matu, Kwenzo Ngcobo, Zakhele Msibi, and newcomer Kethukuthula Jele), the show blends cultural depth, spiritual mystery, and high-stakes family drama.
The story centers around Mabongi Mageza-Ngcobo (played by Dawn Thandeka King), a successful businesswoman and widow whose powerful life today is built on a dark, decades-old secret.
Decades earlier, a young Mabongi faced devastating rejection, heartbreak, and public humiliation after participating in the Umhlang (reed dance) tradition. Desperate to escape poverty and a life of insignificance, she turned to a powerful spiritual healer, Sunday Nkabinde (played by Zakhele Msibi), seeking umuthi wenhlanhla (good luck medicine) to win back her lover. Instead, she accepted a fateful pact (isithwalo) that transformed her fortunes forever—completely unaware of the heavy, multi-generational price tag attached to it.
Fast-forward to the present, questions about the future leadership of the family business begin to surface, and Mabongi’s children fiercely compete to prove themselves worthy of her empire.
Meanwhile, a young woman named Buhle (played by newcomer Kethukuthula Jele) begins uncovering a deeply buried family mystery tied to a distinctive honeycomb-shaped mark on her back. As the long-dormant consequences of Mabongi's past choices ripple into the present, the family is forced to face steep sacrifices, intense rivalries, and the inescapable weight of generational karma.
‘Inyosi’ premieres 02 November 2026 on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) at 8pm.
Together We Stand
Zee World, an English dubbed entertainment channel offering a variety of Bollywood series and movies has announced the rollout of a new series, Together We Stand. Known in India as Lakshmi Niwas, it airs daily on feeds across Southern Africa on 2nd November and for feeds across Africa on 3rd November.
It starred Manasi Joshi Roy as Lakshmi Jaiswal, Rajendra Chawla as Srinivas Jaiswal, Akshita Mudgal as Radhika Chauhan, Raghav Tiwari as Veer Chauhan and Riya Munjal as Bhoomika Bundela.
Synopsis for Together We Stand
A central, overarching goal for Lakshmi and Shriniwas is their deeply held desire to build a permanent, stable home for their large family. This journey serves as a metaphor for their lifelong sacrifices, showcasing their determination to provide a secure sanctuary for their children despite financial constraints and external pressures.
A major driving force of the early plot is the mission to find a suitable match for their daughter, Radhika. Navigating the complex world of modern matchmaking while balancing traditional joint-family expectations creates ongoing drama, requiring Lakshmi and Shriniwas to constantly mediate conflicts between the younger and older generations.
As a daily soap opera, the show heavily incorporates heightened domestic conflicts. The plot regularly features intense family rivalries, financial struggles, and societal pressures. The narrative frequently tests Lakshmi’s patience and Shriniwas's principles as they work together to keep the family unified in the face of internal friction and external schemes.
Bloedspoor S3
The final season of Bloedspoor (Yargi) kicks off with a significant time jump following the turbulent events of Season 2. Prosecutor Ilgaz Kaya (Kaan Urgancıoğlu) and defense attorney Ceylin Erguvan (Pınar Deniz) have built a life together with their young daughter, Mercan.
Synopsis for Bloedspoor S3
* The Disappearance of Mercan: Their daughter Mercan suddenly goes missing under mysterious circumstances. The trauma and grief tear a massive, seemingly irreparable rift between Ilgaz and Ceylin, temporarily driving them apart as they point fingers and navigate unimaginable pain.
* The Time-Jump Reveal: After a gripping investigation and a subsequent time-skip within the season, Mercan is eventually found, forcing Ilgaz and Ceylin to rebuild their fractured relationship and reconcile their past choices.
Unlike previous seasons that focused heavily on a single central murder mystery (like Inci's murder in Season 1 or Pars/Metin arcs in Season 2), Season 3 branches out into a wider web of systemic corruption, dark underground rings, and high-stakes criminal organizations:
* Syndicates and Child Exploitation Cases: Ilgaz, Ceylin, and commissioner Eren find themselves tackling sprawling cases involving human trafficking, corrupt medical institutions, and powerful underworld figures who pull strings from the shadows.
* Redemption and Alliances: Characters like Yekta Tilmen undergo massive character arcs, transitioning from a shady, ruthless defense attorney into a loyal ally and almost a surrogate family member who fights alongside Ilgaz and Ceylin.
* The Eternal Clash of Law vs. Justice: The season heavily examines how much trauma a couple can endure while remaining true to their core values. Ilgaz continues to lean heavily on procedural ethics and the letter of the law, while Ceylin remains fiercely protective and willing to bend boundaries to protect her loved ones.
It airs daily at 21:30 on eExtra from Thursday 19 November.
