Vasudha, Brand New Series Launches On Zee World

Zee World, a Bollywood based entertainment channel offering English dubbed series and films will be rolling out a new series called Vasudha. Based on the Telegu series Muddha Mandaram, it airs daily in the rest of Africa from 29 July.

Synopsis for Vasudha

At its heart, Vasudha is a story of disciplined tradition colliding head-on with carefree, innocent optimism. The narrative centers on three main characters:

Chandrika Singh Chauhan: She is the matriarch of the wealthy Chauhan family. Chandrika is a strict, powerful, and highly disciplined "boss lady" who values rules, order, and absolute perfection above all else.  

Vasudha: A young, happy-go-lucky, and incredibly naive woman. Vasudha lives her life with infectious, chaotic energy. She doesn't understand the complex rules of high society, but her heart is entirely in the right place. She deeply admires Chandrika and constantly tries to earn her approval, which initially leads to highly chaotic and humorous disasters.  

Devansh: Chandrika's ideal, suave, and responsible son. He is caught between his deep respect for his mother's rigid rules and his growing, protective feelings for the innocent Vasudha.  

When Vasudha's path crosses with the elite Chauhan family, she inadvertently disrupts their highly structured life. Despite her constant blunders, her genuine sincerity begins to slowly soften the icy boundaries of the household.

It starred Priya Thakur as Vasudha "Vasu" Solanki, Abhishek Sharma as Devansh Dev Singh Chauhan, Nausheen Ali Sardar as Chandrika Singh Chauhan and Kiran Bhargava as Santosh.
