eExtra's Kuiertyd Debuts New Schedule Amidst Kelders Van Geheime Cancellation, Adds Vlymskerp And Lente Na Die Storm

With eMedia looking to axe Kelders Van Geheime in a double bill finale next month, eMedia won't be adding another Afrikaans soap in it's place. Instead plans are underway to have it's existing programs take up it's current timeslot at 18:00 and 19:30.

From August 17, Een Wit Leuen will air 30 minutes early as it moves from its current timeslot at 20:00 to Kelders Van Geheime at 19:30 on eExtra.

Skree Dit Uit which has been broadcasting on eExtra at 17:30 will be going head to head with Maanligsprokie on e.tv at 16:30. With Yosef that will apparently be broadcast simultaneously on both e.tv and eExtra at 17:30.

Instead of broadcasting daily repeats of Maanligsprokie on eExtra at 17:30 with Skree Dit Uit at 18:30. Maanligsprokie comes two hours after its e.tv broadcast on eExtra at 18:30 basically a repeat overshadows a primetime show like Skree Dit Uit.

Bloedspoor S2 is also set to be concluding next month with the new series Vlymskerp set to join the lineup by August 25 at 21:30. The action series had been picked up the eVOD streaming service last year with Hoog Seisoen also debuting on the platform.

As viewers can recall, Hoogseisoen was to debut on eExtra last month but was reportedly pulled off its release calendar. Now the show will instead be going onto eVOD with Vlymskerp now serving audiences on eExtra in the meantime.

Lente Na Die Storm, another program which failed to launch on eExtra a few months ago and has been streaming on eVOD will be occupying the 20:30 timeslot. The series will rollout on eExtra by August 17 which is a week before Vlymskerp.
